SOOB Festival

The Straight out of Brisbane (SOOB) Festival has just whirled its way through Brisbane once again, showing just what an over-energised director, Ben Elthan, can do with hundreds of energized young talents. SOOB is Queensland's largest festival of independent and emerging artists, thinkers and creative industries workers. And yes, it got weird: the Ideas Panel placed Raelian artist Luke Roberts into a philosophical debate with Catholic Priest and TV personality Father Bob Maguire along with Indigenous arts expert, Angelina Hurley.
