Clarification

Art Monthly apologises to the National Association for the Visual Arts (NAVA) for any negative perceptions as a result of an item
published in National Artnotes, November 2008. By way of clarification, work on the Indigenous Australian Art Commercial
Code of Conduct continues under a new industry/government co-operative development model which sees NAVA working with a broad alliance of industry partners and the Australia Council in consultation with DEWHA and the ACCC. The draft Code Rules will be finalised for consultation by December 2008 with the administrative
arrangements decided early in 2009. (Ed.)
